Description:
Reny™ 1002H is a 30 % glass-fibre-reinforced poly-xylylene-adipamide (PA-MXD6, PARA) injection-moulding grade.
It offers outstanding mechanical strength, high modulus, excellent dimensional stability and very low water absorption compared with standard aliphatic polyamides. The material is targeted at thin-wall, high-stiffness metal-replacement parts for automotive, E&E, appliance and precision-mechanical applications.

Metal-like stiffness (12 GPa) at >40 % weight saving vs. aluminium
Very low warpage & isotropic shrinkage – ideal for large flat parts or precision gears
Excellent surface finish – ready for painting, metallisation or direct assembly
Low moisture uptake → dimensions & mechanical properties remain stable in humid environments
Good chemical resistance to oils, greases, fuels and common solvents
High flow – enables thin-wall (0.3 mm) or long-flow-path mouldings

Automotive: door-handle substrates, mirror housings, clutch / brake pistons, fuel-system connectors, grille inserts
E&E: motor end-shields, connector blocks, bobbins, relay sockets, projector internals
Consumer & appliance: power-tool housings, coffee-machine frames, thin-wall structural brackets
Precision mechanical: gears, impellers, cable ties, camera-module mounts
Regulatory & Environment
RoHS & REACH compliant; UL 94 HB listed; EPBP-approved for PET-bottle recycling when used as barrier layer.
