Description:
Reny™ 1022HS is a 50 % glass-fibre-reinforced, heat-stabilised poly-xylylene-adipamide (PA-MXD6, PARA) compound developed for injection-moulded parts that must retain very high stiffness and strength after long exposure to elevated temperature. Compared with the standard 1022H grade, 1022HS contains an additional thermal-stabiliser package that extends continuous-use performance to 150 °C (RTI).

Very high stiffness (20 GPa) at >40 % weight saving vs. aluminium

Near-isotropic shrinkage → exceptionally low post-mould distortion
Excellent surface finish – ready for painting, metallisation or direct assembly
Low moisture uptake → dimensions & mechanical properties remain stable in humid environments
Good chemical resistance to oils, greases, fuels and common solvents
