Description:
Reny 1071 is a 55% glass-fibre-reinforced poly-xylylene-adipamide (PA-MXD6, PARA) injection-moulding grade optimised for thick-wall parts.
The compound delivers ultra-high stiffness and strength, excellent dimensional stability, very low warpage and minimal moisture uptake, and is widely used as a direct substitute for die-cast aluminium, zinc or magnesium in automotive, E&E and thick-wall structural applications.

Processing Guidelines
Drying: > 3 h @ 120 °C (vacuum dryer) or > 12 h @ 80 °C (dry-air dryer); moisture ≤ 0.02 %
Melt temperature: 265 – 275 °C (nozzle 275 °C)
Mould temperature: 120 – 140 °C (high mould T recommended for gloss & low warpage)
Injection speed: medium-high; hold pressure 20 – 150 MPa
Screw speed: 60 – 150 rpm
Regrind: ≤ 20 % if re-dried
