Description:
Ixef 3008 ECHO RF is a 30% carbon-fiber reinforced polyarylamide compound which exhibits extremely high strength and stiffness, good surface gloss, excellent creep resistance, and lower density than glass-fiber reinforced engineering resins. Ixef 3008 ECHO RF grades have been allocated recycled content using a mass-balance system. Black: Ixef 3008/9008 ECHO RF

Key Features
Ultra-high stiffness & strength – flexural modulus 23 GPa, flexural strength 360 MPa
Excellent surface finish – high gloss, resin-rich skin, ready for painting / metallisation
Low warpage & tight dimensional tolerance – linear mould shrinkage 0.03–0.10 %
Very low moisture uptake – 0.22 % (24 h, 23 °C); properties remain stable in humid environments
Superior creep & fatigue resistance – suitable for sustained loads > 100 MPa at 80 °C
Good chemical resistance to oils, greases, fuels, aliphatic hydrocarbons and common solvents
Inherent EMI shielding / conductivity – volume resistivity 3 × 10³ Ω·cm (carbon-fiber network)
High flow into thin walls – spiral flow > 600 mm @ 280 °C, 1 mm thickness
Halogen-free, RoHS & WEEE compliant
