Description:
PAPA PELLETS GP is a glass fiber reinforced polyamide compound that provides enhanced mechanical strength and low maintenance molding using conventional molding equipment.
Key Features
Very high stiffness and strength (flexural modulus ≈ 23 GPa, flexural strength ≈ 400 MPa)
Mirror-like, resin-rich surface finish straight from the mould – ready for painting, metallisation or high-gloss appearance parts
Excellent dimensional stability and reproducibility (mould shrinkage ≤ 0.3 %)
Extremely low creep: < 1 % strain after 1 000 h at 50 MPa / 50 °C
Slow moisture uptake (0.15 % @ 23 °C, 24 h) – parts stay flat and keep tolerances even in humid environments
High flowability – easily fills wall sections down to 0.5 mm, even at 50 % glass loading
Broad chemical resistance to automotive fluids, cleaning agents, aliphatic & aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, esters and glycol-based media
Good resistance to warpage compared with standard aliphatic nylons
Suitable for e-beam, gamma and EtO sterilisation (biocompatible grades available)
Typical Applications
Automotive interior & exterior trim (mirror housings, door handles, beauty rings, cam covers)
Small appliances, power-tool and furniture hardware
Mobile electronic structural parts (laptop, tablet, smartphone frames)
Hospital goods, surgical instruments and disposable medical devices (when ISO 10993 grades are selected)
General industrial components replacing die-cast zinc or aluminium
Processing Guidelines
Melt temperature: 250 – 280 °C
Mould temperature: 120 – 140 °C (higher mould T gives optimum crystallinity and surface gloss)
Injection speed: medium-high (ensures fibre orientation and surface quality)
Drying: 4 h @ 80 °C (moisture ≤ 0.02 %)

Food-contact and drinking-water grades meet EU 10/2011, FDA, ACS, KTW and WRAS requirements
Medical/biocompatible grades certified to ISO 10993 (cytotoxicity, skin sensitisation, systemic toxicity)

Standard packaging: 25 kg moisture-barrier bags, 1000 kg shrink-wrapped pallet.
Colours: natural (0008) and black (9008); custom colouring available on request.
